Vacancy: Senior Robot Programmer.

Location: offering 2 locations 

  1. LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES IN SPAIN: You must have availability to travel national and internationally  (mainly SPAIN & USA). OUR HEADQUARTER IS IN ALMUSSAFES (VALENCIA) ALTHOUGH YOU CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE ELSE IN SPAIN.
  2. LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES IN MEXICO: You must have availability to travel to USA. Intemediate level of english required, valid passport and visa and willing to travel and change residence to US.

We are a leading Engineering company looking for an outstanding Senior Robot Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our organization's mission by programming and maintaining robotic systems, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency. As a Robot Programmer, you will work closely with engineers and robotic technicians to develop, test, and implement robot programs (especially you will work on robotic welding lines, with experience in robots KUKA, Fanuc, ABB, and several technologies as spotweld, arcweld, stud weld, gluing, handling, palletizing, servogun, etc.). You will enroll in a company leader in its sector, know cutting edge technology and profesional methodology and practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Program and configure robots for various industrial applications.
  • Design and develop off-line programs according to project requirements.
  • Load programs in the robot onsite.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of robot programs.
  • Collaborate with PLC Programmers, Engineers, and Technicians to develop robot programs.
  • Test robot programs in simulated environments and perform on-site debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Add and configure new equipment, optimize robot programs for performance and efficiency.
  • Create and modify robot work cells to meet specific requirements, configuration and run safety checking.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on robot software and hardware.
  • Document robot programs and provide training to users.

 

What will you need as a successful Senior Robot Programmer?

  • Bachelor's degree in robotics, automation, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in robot programming languages, such as ABB, Fanuc, or KUKA.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with robotic sensors and vision systems.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies, such as PLCs and HMI systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Intermediate or conversational English level.
