Lead and manage PLC programmers and controls teams to deliver industrial automation projects across planning, commissioning, startup, and completion. Oversee PLC/HMI/SCADA and safety programming, robot integration, VFDs, pneumatics, and industrial networks. Troubleshoot technical issues, interpret electrical schematics, manage resources, ensure safety compliance, train staff, and maintain client relationships while supporting continuous improvement.

Lead North American engineering delivery for industrial automation across US and Mexico. Oversee mechanical, electrical, PLC/robot programming, and installation teams; own project execution, utilization, gross margin, and project P&L; build talent and vendor networks; report KPIs to the CTO and ensure regional alignment with global technical strategy.

Develop, program, test, commission, and troubleshoot PLC-based industrial automation systems (primarily Allen-Bradley; Siemens preferred). Interpret electrical drawings, support installations and production ramp-up, resolve PLC/HMI issues, collaborate with engineering and field teams, ensure safety and compliance, and prepare technical documentation.

Develop, load, test, and commission PLC programs for automated automotive welding and assembly lines. Collaborate with robot programmers and technicians, create documentation and training, provide technical support and maintenance, and travel to client sites for installations and commissioning.

Develop, test, load and maintain robot programs for industrial applications (welding, handling, palletizing). Collaborate with PLC programmers and technicians, commission onsite, troubleshoot, optimize performance, document programs, and train users. Travel to client sites required.

Lead design, development, installation, testing, debugging, commissioning, and maintenance of PLC programs for automated welding and assembly lines. Collaborate with robot programmers and engineers, produce documentation and training materials, provide technical support, and lead a team of programmers while traveling to client sites.
