The Senior Registered Nurse (OR) serves as a frontline clinical leader within the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operating room. This role supports the site leadership team by facilitating clear communication, ensuring operational readiness, and driving consistent execution of clinical standards. The Senior RN promotes safe, high quality patient care while supporting staff engagement, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance in the outpatient surgical setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key liaison between the leadership team and clinical staff by communicating clinical updates, system changes, and site initiatives in a clear, timely, and consistent manner
- Support and advocate for the implementation of new processes, workflows, and initiatives; clarify expectations for team members and communicate barriers, risks, or concerns to leadership promptly
- Assist leadership with daily management systems, including staff huddles, review of performance metrics and KPIs, and active solicitation of staff feedback for issue identification and escalation
- Actively contributes to capital planning by providing clinical input on capital purchases as equipment ages out or as service line growth and technological advancements require updates
- Proactively support medication and supply planning by providing clinical input into drug ordering, maintaining lean inventory practices, and anticipating par levels based on surgical schedules and procedural demand
- Serve as a primary resource for onboarding new clinical staff, including coordination and completion of onboarding checklists, competency validation, orientation processes, and training on electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Participate in the orientation, training, and ongoing competency validation of operating room staff to ensure readiness for independent practice and alignment with regulatory expectations
- Support the leadership team in maintaining the facility in a constant state of survey readiness by monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and standards of care
- Perform daily rounding in clinical areas as needed to support staff, reinforce standard work, and identify opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license through the State of Nevada
- BLS/CPR active
- ACLS and PALS active or ability to obtained within 90 days of hire
- 4+ years of experience working as a RN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare, or related field
- Experience in Surgery Center/OR
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
