As a Senior Risk & Resilience Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and optimize comprehensive resilience program that ensure business continuity, crisis management, supplier resilience and technology resilience across the organization. You will play a critical role in identifying risks, driving mitigation strategies, and fostering a culture of resilience to safeguard operational integrity.

You will report directly to our IA leadership team with a matrix reporting line to the Corporate Global Business Resilience Leader, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s ability to respond effectively to disruptions by maintaining robust resilience programs, developing testing scenarios, enhancing crisis management capabilities, and collaborating cross-functionally to embed resilience throughout the business.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and optimize the crisis management program and procedures, monitor key risk indicators, and partner with stakeholders to drive mitigation strategies.
  • Support ongoing management and enhancement of the business continuity program to ensure recovery of critical operations during disruptions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and refine technology resilience strategies that ensure system and application robustness.
  • Develop and facilitate testing scenarios simulating various disruptions to evaluate and enhance organizational resilience capabilities.
  • Advance training programs to equip staff with necessary knowledge and skills for crisis response and continuity.
  • Enhance resilience-supporting tools and technologies, such as the Fusion platform, integrating new functionalities and optimizing existing features.
  • Partner with business units to promote a culture of resilience and accountability, ensuring all employees understand their roles in maintaining continuity.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing resilience programs for complex organizations, demonstrating leadership in business continuity, crisis management, supplier resilience and technology resilience.
  • Current professional certification (DRII, BCI)
  • Demonstrated project management skills, utilizing data to drive decisions and develop maturity in a Resilience program. 
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity planning methodologies, crisis management frameworks, and technology resilience initiatives, with proven ability to develop and lead testing scenarios and training programs.
  • Experience with resilience software platforms such as Fusion and proficiency in project management, utilizing data to drive decisions and program maturity.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional global initiatives and lead strategic decisions during regional events to support crisis response and business recovery.
