Lalamove is looking for an experienced Risk Analyst to support our Risk team in Hong Kong. The role entails driving analytics insights and enabling senior leadership to make effective, analytically driven decisions, in particular areas of fraud risk and financial efficiency.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about logistics and e-commerce, has a strong analytical and consultative mindset, deep understanding of risk strategy methodology and design, the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines, and a passion for scaling operations through automation.
What you'll do
- Implement Operational Risk framework, monitor the risk metrics for each region, and identify/develop risk controls for each global market
- Lead and drive standardization, automation, and consolidation through reengineering and process improvement initiatives
- Identify and track Key Risk Indicators to support strategy testing environments and daily operations
- Create fraud & risk awareness within C-level management
- Work with remote teams for risk development and fraud investigations
- Ensure effective disaster recovery for fraud incidents
- Create strategies to detect and enforce in alignment with the Risk Policy
- Review strategies with regional & local operations to ensure that thresholds set are appropriate
- Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure that risk controls are in place for new and existing product features
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or Postgraduate in Business or Statistics, working experience in Trust & Safety/Risk Management is preferred
- 6+ years experience in Risk, Trust & Safety, Fraud investigations & Anti-fraud compliance/management.
- Experience in stakeholder management and risk product development
- Experience in leading and developing Risk and Anti-Fraud functionExperience in payments and disputes/chargebacks
- Ability to do work with large data sets - Data analysis, familiar with SQL/scripting, Tableau, R, Python, query on logs and databases.
- Independent thinking, great teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required for this position (Mandarin is a plus)
