About this Job

As a Senior RF Test Engineer at Eridan, you’ll play a critical role in validating and verifying our advanced RF systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define test requirements, develop automated test environments, and ensure our products meet rigorous performance, reliability, and quality standards.

As our Senior RF Test Engineer, you will:

Test Planning & Execution

• Collaborate with design and production teams to define test requirements across product development stages (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT)
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases for mechanical and electrical systems
• Run tests at component and system level through all phases of product development

Test Development & Automation

• Develop test software solutions in C# (Python, C, C++ a plus) for automated data collection and reporting
• Build and maintain automated test environments and fixtures
• Publish and maintain testing schedules and progress updates

Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Analyze product performance and test results to validate against specifications
• Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and recommend corrective actions
• Debug hardware, firmware, software, and test fixtures in lab environments

Documentation & Metrics

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation and procedures
• Maintain a centralized test database and track performance metrics
• Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing and traceability

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in RF test engineering or a similar role
• Strong grasp of communications theory and signal processing
• Proficiency with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols: FPGA, SerDes, I2C, Ethernet, PCI, USB, SPI, UART
• Proficiency in writing test software (C# required; Python, C, or C++ a plus)

• Familiarity with ORAN, 3GPP 5G, or Wi-Fi systems
• Experience with system-level validation/verification
• Knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing techniques
• Background in analog electronics or electrical power systems
• Experience leading or mentoring RF test teams

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $130,000 and $160,000 plus stock options and benefits.
