Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

We are more than 34,000 people, in over 30 countries, dedicated to improving quality of life. Everyone has an important role to play. With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.

Role description:

The Senior Reward Data & Analytics Specialist provides the data and analytical expertise required to deliver the Pay Transparency Directive (PTD) programme and embed sustainable ongoing operations. The role translates agreed programme principles into practical reporting and analytical solutions, balancing global consistency with country legal requirements, while supporting wider Global Reward priorities.

* This is a 12-month fixed term contract

Role accountabilities:

PTD delivery and governance

· Act as the principal Reward data and analytics contact for PTD, coordinating requirements and deliverables across countries, functions and external partners.

· Provide senior analytical expertise for PTD, offering independent technical challenge on data quality and analytical assumptions, and recommending appropriate methodologies to support accurate, consistent and defensible reporting.

· Own the analytical delivery framework and management reporting as a senior individual contributor, working within established functional, country and governance accountabilities.

· Support the global PTD framework, initially focused on EU implementation, and its extension to other jurisdictions as required.

· Work with the Programme Manager to maintain the delivery plan, track dependencies, report progress and escalate material data, compliance, remediation and delivery risks. Regulatory requirements and operational controls

· Translate legal requirements into repeatable analytical, reporting and evidence-retention processes with Legal, Employee Relations, Privacy, Reward and country stakeholders. Legal interpretation and compliance decisions remain with the accountable functions. Data management and technology

· Lead the technical transition of existing PTD data and analytical activities into Reward, including the structured handover of historical assessments, to ensure continuity and clear ongoing ownership.

· Coordinate the analytical validation of country-level Reward data, working directly with country stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies, establish reliable data sources and ensure readiness for PTD reporting and analysis.

· Manage data preparation, uploads, reconciliation and recurring refreshes in Syndio, including access and version controls, testing and issue resolution. Oversee licences, service performance, renewals and vendor escalations where assigned.

· Maintain data dictionaries, process maps, calculation logic and supporting evidence to ensure accurate, repeatable, explainable and auditable outputs that meet privacy requirements.

Pay equity analysis, disclosure and remediation

· Conduct adjusted and unadjusted pay-gap analysis and statistical assessment across relevant employee populations, categories and legal entities.

· Investigate potential disparities using validated data, distinguishing indicators from confirmed issues and applying objective, gender-neutral pay criteria.

· Prepare comparative pay information for Right to Information requests within applicable timelines, privacy thresholds and country requirements, maintaining clear records of assumptions, approvals and responses.

· Produce statutory pay-gap reports and supporting evidence, obtaining the required review and sign-off before disclosure or submission.

· Model remediation options, costs and interventions, and support joint pay assessments where required.

· Maintain a central remediation register, track actions to closure, assess effectiveness and escalate overdue or unresolved issues. Stakeholder collaboration

· Partner with Reward, Payroll, People Services, People Analytics, HR Technology, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, Employee Relations, Privacy and external specialists to resolve gaps, challenge inconsistent approaches and agree timely action. Operational transition and continuous improvement

· Embed the agreed PTD design in business-as-usual operations, establishing clear hand-offs, service measures, escalation routes, continuity arrangements and readiness criteria.

· Use service metrics, legislative developments, lessons learned and stakeholder feedback to improve data quality, PTD processes and controls, automating repeatable activity without weakening accountability or assurance.

Qualifications & Experience:

·At least eight years’ progressive experience in Reward or Compensation & Benefits within a complex multinational organisation, including significant experience in pay equity, pay transparency and remuneration analytics.

· Strong working knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and established pay-equity practices, including Right to Information, statutory reporting, objective pay criteria, remediation and joint pay assessments.

· Sound understanding of compensation structures, job architecture, benchmarking and pay progression.

· Advanced analytical and financial-modelling capability, with expert Excel skills and the ability to interpret complex remuneration data and explain its implications clearly.

· Practical experience with Power BI or an equivalent visualisation tool, and Power Query or equivalent data-transformation tools.

· In-depth knowledge of pay-equity statistical techniques, including regression, adjusted and unadjusted gaps, significance, confidence measures and employee grouping.

· Proven ability to reconcile HR and payroll data, establish reliable sources and deliver accurate, repeatable and auditable outputs.

· Experience embedding operational processes and governance, ideally through transition from programme delivery to ongoing operations.

· Ability to work credibly across countries and functions, manage competing priorities and ambiguity, challenge constructively and exercise sound judgement.

· An independent, investigative and delivery-focused approach in a changing environment.

· Desirable: experience with Syndio or a comparable pay-equity platform; SQL or similar tools; Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors or other enterprise HR/payroll systems; and remediation modelling in a global professional-services or infrastructure environment.
