AutoZone's Supply Chain Reverse Logistics Senior Analyst will lead all inventory return/recall requests and activities to include, but not limited to, recall for redistribution, excess inventory recalls, dead inventory returns to vendor, store returns, and safety and legal issues, in order to ensure the requests accomplish the intended objectives. Must communicate effectively across Supply Chain to notify of any risks and/or provide solutions where needed.
Responsibilities• Provides standard reporting and ad hoc data analysis to support all things associated with Returns and Recalls and communicate key insights to leadership and business stakeholders
- Effectively manages and updates all FOG/POG activities and calendar cross functionally
- Generates store and DC inventory recalls and manage the flow of recalls through the network
- Collaborates with DCs and BBP team to ensure that all returns and recalls processed are set-up and processed consistently, timely and properly across the network
- Generates weekly KPI reporting for recalls and returns operations
- Reviews weekly DC inventory not returned to vendor and communicates to the DC to return product
- Reviews and keys inventory recall requests and validates accuracy based on the original request
- Helps report, support, and manage all aspects of DC charge back inventory effectively between DC, SSC and Vendors. Ensures aged Vendor Boxes and chargeback $ goals are achieved consistently.
- Updates weekly recall calendar and communicates to DCs
- Updates on return to vendor recalls with the returns good authorization received from merchandising. Validates the returns good authorization approved amount is not exceeded and recalls/returns to vendor are executed properly. Reports to merchandising any discrepancies
- Partners with vendors and Merchandising to obtain returned goods authorization
- Demonstrates effective communication – actively listening to the needs of others, internally and externally – to understand and provide accurate information or solutions, as well as organizational skills – prioritizing appropriately and responding to issues quickly and creatively with an open and positive focus
- Partners with DCs, SSC, Stores and Vendors to streamline and improve efficiencies for DCs
- Provides options when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors’ degree in relevant field of study (Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business Administration, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics analysis, inventory management, warehouse operations or equivalent professional experience
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong technical skills particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial analysis
