The roleWe are looking for a Senior Revenue Systems AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled automations and agent-driven workflows across our Revenue Systems, while strengthening CRM systems ownership, integrations, and process scalability across GTM operations.
You'll support the Revenue Systems Engineering team's shift toward an automation-first operating model, replacing manual, ticket-driven work with agent-executed workflows, without breaking what already works. You'll have real influence over how AI gets embedded into revenue operations at Ideals, from evaluating what should be automated to defining the guardrails that keep automation safe and auditable.
You'll work independently on regular end-to-end solutions where business processes and ownership boundaries are already defined, making implementation decisions within established architecture and standards, while looking for ways to improve existing processes.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in Ukraine.
What you will doBuild and maintain AI-assisted automations and agent workflows (primarily in n8n)
Define orchestration logic, prompts/instructions, fallback paths, and documentation for agent-executed tasks
Evaluate which Revenue Systems processes are realistically automatable vs. human-owned
Design and implement integrations between HubSpot, internal systems, and external tools required for AI-enabled workflows
Improve and maintain CRM process logic, ownership/routing logic, and related workflow automation
Support technical investigations, automation QA, and production stabilization for newly introduced AI/agent flows
Partner cross-functionally to align business rules, controls, and expected outputs for automated processes
Contribute to future-state architecture and process hardening across Revenue Systems
4+ years of experience in revenue systems, CRM engineering, business systems, automation engineering, integrations, or technical operations
Usage of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as a primary way to build - accelerating workflow and code development - while critically validating, debugging, and explaining AI-generated code and SQL rather than taking it at face value
Practical, hands-on experience designing and building production-grade AI/LLM workflows and agentic orchestration
Expert SQL skills: advanced query design (CTEs, window functions), performance and cost optimization at scale, parsing semi-structured/JSON data, and building validation/reconciliation checks to prove output correctness
Strong architectural background in platform selection, configuring scalable object/association logic, and preventing workflow conflicts across connected business systems
Advanced analytical and systems thinking, with the ability to dive deep into complex datasets, draw accurate conclusions, identify causal links, and think beyond immediately available facts to build long-term solutions
Strong English language proficiency (B2/C1 level) for clear communication and documentation
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions, translate complex technical topics into business language, speak directly to the point, and reach mutual agreement
