Transform lives, every single day
Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.
For over 170 years, Anglicare has supported people and communities across Sydney and the surrounds. Our Finance team plays a vital role in enabling that impact, ensuring strong financial processes, compliance and service across our Seniors Communities and Residential Care portfolios.
We’re looking for a Senior Revenue & Receivables Officer to join our Finance team in a key leadership support role, helping drive the day-to-day success of the Revenue and Receivables function.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior position where you’ll act as the first point of escalation for the wider team, support operational performance, and contribute to process improvement across billing, collections, reconciliations and resident financial administration.
As part of a purpose-driven organisation, you’ll be working in a collaborative and values-led environment where your work directly contributes to enriching lives and strengthening communities.
Your opportunity
As our Senior Revenue & Receivables Officer, you will support the Revenue and Receivables Manager by overseeing day-to-day operations, mentoring team members, and helping ensure billing, receipting, reconciliations, collections and refunds are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity suited to an experienced revenue or receivables professional who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with leadership support, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
With ownership, you will:
Act as the primary escalation point and mentor for Revenue & Receivables Officers
Support billing, collections, refunds, receipting and reconciliations across multiple business streams
Process direct debits and provide back-up support for cash receipting activities
Coordinate day-to-day operational issues, workload support and cross-skilling across the team
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support operational efficiency projects
Participate in system testing and upgrades, particularly within financial systems
Support reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities and cash flow processes
What you’ll bring
You are a detail-oriented and capable revenue professional who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance and service. You’re confident navigating complex billing and receivables processes, enjoy supporting others, and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.
You’ll also need:
5+ years’ experience in revenue, receivables, invoicing or a similar function
Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring or guiding team members
Experience within the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of billing rules and compliance
Strong experience in billing, collections, refunds and reconciliations
Experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms (Epicor highly regarded)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong problem-solving capability, attention to detail and process discipline
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams
