About the Team / Role

WEX Europe Services Ltd are the owner of the Esso Fuel card portfolio, with offices across Europe and the US, are one of Europe’s largest providers of fuel card and mobility payment solutions.

The Senior Revenue Marketing Manager for the EU Mobility business line will be responsible for developing and executing strategic, revenue-driving marketing initiatives across EMEA. This role will focus particularly on optimizing the acquisition part of the customer lifecycle, ultimately maximizing revenue growth for the EU Mobility business. This individual will be data-driven, highly analytical, and possess a strong understanding of customer journey optimization and marketing automation to deliver measurable impact on key revenue metrics.

Please note this is a 9 month fixed term contract - applicants will need to be available for a short notice and able to commit to the full 9 month contract period.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue marketing strategies aligned with the overall EU Mobility business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Drive sales transformation efforts by supporting the business transition toward an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) focused model.

  • Ensure the seamless delivery of the Marketing Plan, tracking performance against key growth and conversion targets.

  • Facilitate the shift to ICP targeting by aligning marketing output with evolved sales objectives and high-value customer segments.

  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various channels to drive customer acquisition, focusing on attracting high-quality leads within the EU market.

  • Optimize the customer activation process through targeted communications and onboarding programs to ensure new customers realize the value of the EU Mobility offerings quickly.

  • Align and collaborate on customer retention programs to minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value within the EU.

  • Leverage marketing automation platforms to nurture leads, personalize customer communications, and automate key touchpoints across the customer lifecycle.

  • Define, track, and analyze key revenue marketing metrics (e.g., CAC, activation rate, engagement score, churn rate, LTV) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for optimization.

  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing on various marketing assets and customer journey touchpoints to continuously improve conversion rates and overall performance.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and customer strategies across the EU.

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets for revenue-focused initiatives within the EU Mobility business line, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in revenue marketing, marketing automation, and customer lifecycle management within the European context.

  • Provide regular reports and insights on revenue marketing performance to key stakeholders.

  • Uphold operational excellence by championing strong internal processes and fostering consistent, high-level stakeholder engagement and commitment.

  • Support Campaign Manager in resource planning and optimization by driving a standard for best-in-class briefing and project scoping.

  • Enhance briefing quality to ensure strategic alignment and clear accountability across all cross-functional marketing initiatives.

Experience you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in revenue marketing, demand generation, or a related field, with a strong focus on driving measurable revenue growth.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that improve customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.

  • Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and experience in implementing strategies to optimize each stage.

  • Extensive experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.   

  • Experience in developing and managing marketing budgets and forecasting ROI.   

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Experience working within the European Union market, understanding regional nuances and regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience within the mobility, transportation, or financial services sector.

  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience working with multilingual marketing campaigns.

  • Fluency in one or more additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Italian), would be of an advantage but not essential.

  • Experience in building and leading cross-functional marketing initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and their role in the revenue funnel.

  • Experience with customer segmentation and personalization strategies within the EU market.

  • A strategic thinker with a results-oriented and data-driven approach.
