The Global Revenue Strategy team is responsible for providing guidelines, standards, structure, tools and support for Regions and hotels in the field of Revenue Management and commercial distribution. Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard the Kempinski standards impacting revenues across our hotels on multiple levels such as room type change, upselling, competitive sets, market segmentation, account production tracking as well as ensuring the BI data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the set up and maintenance of Revenue related brand standard and guidelines, such as tools and SOPs (e.g. revenue meeting, rate strategy tool etc) and ensure these are uploaded on mykempinski extranet.
- Work closely with the regional teams to further improve the current processes, tools and guidelines
- Provide monthly reporting results to the CCO including - but not limited to - Market segmentation, Source Market, Channel + OTA and Wholesale partners production and brand contribution report.
- Provide ad hoc analysis (at property, regional or corporate level) using multiple 3rd party data sources such as STR, Travelclick, Rateshopping or OTA data.
- Help define and review performance of corporate offers, commercial actions and campaigns.
- Monitor rate integrity helping understand the root of rate parity issues and setup strategies to resolve them
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2 years experience in Hotel Revenue Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with strong keyboarding skills, is essential.
- RMS knowledge, preferably with Duetto or EZRMS
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, fluently, and persuasively.
- Ability to analyse complex data and draw conclusions from the results.
- Perform duties in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to come up with own ideas, to formulate these and show a certain level of initiative.
- Team oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work under short deadlines in a dynamic international environment.
- Ability to work independently, often remotely from direct supervisor.
