Job DescriptionSummary
You will perform advanced revenue recognition activities following IFRS 15 and ensuring accurate revenue reporting. You will support contract evaluations, technical assessments, month‑end close processes, and ICFR/SOX control execution. It also contributes to system accuracy, operational improvements, and data-driven analysis across revenue streams. You will partner with Billing, Sales, Legal, FP&A, and other finance teams to validate revenue outcomes. You will report to the Revenue Recognition Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform detailed IFRS 15 revenue assessments including identification of performance obligations, allocation of transaction price, evaluation of contract modifications, and determination of revenue timing.
- Review customer contracts and amendments to interpret commercial terms and support the accounting position for multi‑element arrangements, usage‑based fees, and subscription/term-based services.
- Accomplish month‑end close activities including revenue journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, reconciliations, flux analysis, and preparation of supporting documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of revenue postings and sub-ledger data within ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP, resolving discrepancies and validating system-generated revenue results.
- Support ICFR/SOX control execution, including evidence preparation, contract review controls, and audit requests from internal and external auditors.
- Contribute to process improvement projects, identifying automation opportunities, optimizing workflows, and enhancing accuracy and reporting through tools like Excel, VBA, and data analysis solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced English level.
- 6+ years of experience in revenue accounting or technical accounting, with practical application of IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, SAP, or equivalent, including revenue sub‑ledger or billing integrations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including large dataset analysis, complex formulas, Power Query, and VBA automation.
- Experience working with ICFR/SOX controls, audit documentation, reconciliations, and month‑end close procedures.
- Proficiency with analytical/reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms to interpret revenue and contract data.
