Your Role

As a Senior Retoucher, you will take a hands-on approach to both the creative and technical aspects of projects, collaborating closely with Creative Director, Producers, VFX Supervisory and CGI artists to ensure the seamless execution of final imagery. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards across all retouching work, from initial image preparation to final delivery

Your Responsibilities 

• Execute high-end image retouching at every stage of the process, from image preparation to final color grading and conversions.
• Integrate and enhance CGI elements, ensuring photorealistic quality through precise lighting, scale, perspective, focus, and grain matching
• Lead creative and technical execution on projects, from initial concept through to final delivery
• Collaborate with CGI artists, photographers, and animation teams to integrate multi-disciplinary visual assets seamlessly
• Ensure strict quality control across all final deliverables, maintaining consistency in color, tone, and detail
• Supervise and support junior retouchers, providing mentorship and training to elevate team capabilities
• Work closely with Producers to manage project timelines, deliverables and client expectations
• Optimize workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve production pipelines
• Travel for work-related events, productions, and training as required

Your Experience 

• A good understanding of German language
• 8+ years of professional experience in high-end photography retouching and / or CGI post-production
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end compositing and retouching
• Strong understanding of CGI pipelines, including rendering, lighting, textures, shaders, structures, photorealistic finishing and post-production integration
• A good understanding of Microsoft and the rest of the Adobe Suite • A deep passion for photography, visual effects and CGI production
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadline
• Strong team leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and efficiency
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining the highest creative and technical standards
• Willingness and ability to travel for work-related events and productions
