Job Summary
SummaryIndependently carries out a broad range of technically advanced research activities and procedures related to cancer drug policy; conceives of and designs experiments, evaluates conclusions, and has complete latitude to modify or devise methods and techniques as necessary to achieve desired results related to cancer drug policy; may supervise technical and administrative elements of research unit related to cancer drug policy.
Essential Functions
• Function as a skilled scientific specialist for the research unit or for a specific research project related to cancer drug policy.
• Conducts broad range of experiments or computational analyses involving advanced technology/strategies related to cancer drug policy; conceives of the objective of research studies and designs experimental protocols/computational analyses to achieve the objectives related to cancer drug policy; generates, analyzes and evaluates experimental data; interprets the results of experiments/computational analyses related to cancer drug policy.
• Writes and edits material for publication related to cancer drug policy; may present papers or appear as principal or secondary author in publications related to cancer drug policy.
• Provides direct supervision to technical and support personnel as assigned related to cancer drug policy.
• Provides instruction in laboratory or computational techniques and methodology to students and postdoctoral fellows related to cancer drug policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned related to cancer drug policy
