We are hiring a Senior R&D Scientist to support technology expansion and development of new antibody reagents for In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) devices.

About the job

  • The job involves optimization of the development workflow for efficiently generating new antibody candidates of various formats.
  • You will work on implementing high throughput expression systems for developing new antibodies. Introduction of robust and cost-effective processes and small-scale pilot production is also part of the job.
  • The job requires strong documentation and data management skills as well as experience in cross functional collaboration with stakeholders.

You will be based in our Glostrup, Denmark office working in a dynamic and diverse environment in a team with around 10 colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a dedicated personality and team spirit as those are the key characteristics to be successful in this position. You should also have:

  • A PhD degree in molecular biology, biotechnology or equivalent
  • Experience with cloning, protein expression and purification
  • Experience with best practice high expression systems in mammalian cells and in microorganisms
  • Experience with cell analysis by flow cytometry, bioinformatic analyses and interpretation of data
  • Experience with immunoassays is an advantage
  • Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level
