The Senior Research Analyst works closely with key stakeholders to recommend, lead, and deliver on research projects that yield actionable, strategic insights and recommendations. This position is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of primary and secondary research and works with individuals across the company to apply insights garnered from research.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder collaboration: Partners with stakeholders to understand business strategies and research needs. Maintains strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the market. Facilitates meetings to discuss research objectives, plans, project status updates, deliver insights, and foster collaboration. Works closely with external partners to support recruitment and research needs.

Project management: Prepares and executes large, complex, strategic project plans that align with business goals and research objectives, including secondary data sources, research methodologies, timelines, and cost estimates. Monitors progress and communicates project status updates to stakeholders.

Data collection and analysis: Designs and administers qualitative and quantitative primary research, including web-based surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews. Prepares discussion guides and survey instruments. Collects data on the market, customers, employees, and competitors to develop a comprehensive understanding of internal and external business conditions. Analyzes data using statistical techniques and software tools.


Reporting and presentations: Translates complex data into clear, easily interpretable, and engaging insights. Creates reports and presentations of research findings by summarizing key insights, providing detailed findings, and generating recommendations for action. Presents insights in a storytelling format. Collaborates with key stakeholders at different levels across the organization to interpret results and ensure insights are understood and used effectively.

Continuous improvement: Continuously evaluates and improves the process for generating insights that are relevant, timely, and actionable. Maintains quality standards and best practices; remains current on best practices, methodologies, techniques, and technology within the rapidly growing field of research and analytics. Identifies and recommends external research partners.

Mentorship and team leadership: Provides guidance and mentoring to junior market research analysts, helping to develop their research and analytical skills. Trains team members on processes for generating and delivering insights.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Psychology or Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in qualitative and quantitative research

Preferred:

  • MBA, MS, or other advanced degree
  • Experience in B2B or healthcare industry
  • Fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate AI outputs, improve workflows using approved tools, identify and mitigate bias or inaccuracies, and communicate AI-driven insights clearly and responsibly to peers and managers.

• Exceptional research and technical skills: proficiency with primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research, and in research tools (e.g. Qualtrics) and advanced analysis and data visualization tools (SPSS, R, PowerBI,

    etc.).

• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills: curiosity to dig into data; strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills: exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences across different levels

   within the organization.• Project and time management skills: experience managing multiple research projects simultaneously, independently and with minimal supervision, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate across teams in a

   fast paced environment.• Attention to detail: high level of accuracy and attention to detail when collecting, analyzing, and reporting data and insights.

• Works under general office environment conditions• Requires close visual acuity for working with computers• Some domestic travel (5%)• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA


Skills Required
