. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and constantly sharpen understanding of the sorts of written content that will best engage the audience within the assigned Content Pillar, measured in terms of page views, unique visitors and engagement on social platforms.
• Assist Breaking News Desk on quick-turn news events relevant to the assigned Content Pillar as needed.
• Propose and enact second-day stories to follow news events.
• Become subject matter experts on a beat area with ability to independently assess story angles.
• Cultivate and maintain a strong professional network within coverage
