Job Description

Ready to make a real impact on your organization's bottom line? As a Senior Reimbursement Analyst, you'll be the financial detective who uncovers insights hidden in complex net revenue data. Using Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) expertise, you'll transform raw billing data into strategic intelligence that drives both revenue optimization and regulatory compliance. This is a high-visibility role within Finance and Revenue Cycle—the kind of position where your work directly influences leadership decisions and opens doors for career advancement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Net Revenue Analysis: Lead the monthly net revenue close process with investigative rigor, accurately translating gross patient billing into actual cash collections using advanced RCA platforms (Kodiak Solutions RCA, Crowe RCA, or similar tools)
  • Drive Strategic Insights: Leverage pivot tables and data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that shape reimbursement strategy and inform leadership decisions
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the cost report team on crossover projects, expanding your expertise beyond net revenue and building valuable relationships across the Revenue Cycle function
  • Manage Multiple Priorities: Juggle competing projects with ease, demonstrating strong prioritization skills and flexibility—especially during the critical first 7 business days of each month
  • Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Apply analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to complex reimbursement scenarios, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Master's Degree, preferred.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of reimbursement experience including preparation, audit or review of hospital cost reports.
  • General knowledge of third party reimbursement mechanisms.
  • Strong Analytical reasoning and problem solving skills are highly preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Access and Excel.

Skills Required
