Position Overview

This role will be responsible for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau market development, setting targets, relationship development between the channel and inside sales team, and ensuring that territory revenue goals are met every quarter. This role will report to the GM/Senior Director of Greater China. You will drive revenue growth by managing key initiatives and sales performance for the Territory sales organization through qualified opportunities. Trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises inside sales staff. Has deep understanding of Inside sales processes. Prioritizes and allocates resources. Works with the field sales organization to ensure that representatives provide adequate support in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall implementation of the sales strategies and for the sales results of an industry or territory

  • Lead the activities of sales team, including hiring, coaching, developing talent, team culture and performance management

  • Manages team effort in direct led and indirect deals by leveraging partners and drives sales for the assigned industry or territory through the channel to fulfill customer needs

  • Plans and directs all sales activities including planning, managing forecasts, building the pipeline, executing on policies, as well as staffing and talent development of the sales force. Promote a team culture that embraces Autodesk's values

  • Collaborate across organizations and engage appropriate internal resources from Autodesk

  • Establishes short and long term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives that generate new business and develops and maintains customer relationships. Execute strong business practices

  • Establish and sustain effective long term customer relationships

  • Assist reseller in developing sales and marketing plans related to Autodesk's industry solutions

  • Provide insight to internal organizations on market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities

  • Collaborate with other internal organizations and coordinate internal resources as needed

  • Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities

  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operation and efficiency within sales and the supporting organizations

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 + years of sales leadership experience with a demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals

  • Proven team leadership skills, managing large teams through multiple management layers with creativity and a proactive approach to conflict resolution, mentoring, coaching, recognition and performance management

  • Demonstrated success in working with the Channel, Marketing, Customer Success and other key internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build relationships at multiple levels and to work cross-organizationally towards solutions

  • Strong influencing skills and ability to deliver results in a matrixed organization

  • Effective Project Management leadership experience

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to grasp the technical aspects of the business (i.e. deeply understanding the products and services in order to achieve and maximize sales results)

  • Able to adapt and evolve with changing priorities and business initiatives

  • A highly motivated, results-oriented, self-start
