About the role


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Regional People Operations Specialist, to drive HR initiatives and operational excellence across European countries. This role is designed for a proactive HR professional who excels at leveraging data, managing projects, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our HR processes, enhancing employee experiences, and supporting the strategic growth of our organization across diverse European markets.

This role will report directly to the Sr People Operations Regional Manager and is based out of our Barcelona offices, where we encourage our teams to join us in person at least three days per week.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring policies and processes are designed, maintained, and consistently applied across regions.
  • EU Payroll inputing and validation of data, managing multiple stakeholders in the process.
  • Standardizing and optimize onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and job change processes to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data within People Systems & Employee Records.
  • Monitoring key HR metrics, to drive continuous improvements.
  • Implementing data-driven dashboards to optimize processes and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HR policies while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Leveraging technology to streamline and automate People Operations processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Aligning regional HR operations with global standards while ensuring local adaptation where necessary.
  • Driving continuous process improvements by identifying opportunities for simplification and harmonization across markets.
  • Monitoring HR budgets, track expenditures, and propose optimizations to ensure cost-effective HR operations.
  • Overseeing HR projects from initiation to completion, applying best-in-class project management methodologies to ensure successful execution. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver strategic HR solutions.
  • Ensuring effective service delivery by maintaining strong partnerships with key HR service providers.
  • Establishing and enforce data protection policies, ensuring secure handling of sensitive employee information.

What you will bring to Ogury:

  • Proven experience in a regional HR operations role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR data management, reporting, and insights generation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, process optimization, and automation of HR workflows.
  • Knowledge of EU labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in HR technology, HRIS systems, and data security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Compensation:

The salary for the Senior Regional People Operations Specialist role is: €30,000 - €37,000 annually, dependent upon relevant experience.
