What You’ll Own
- Strategic Expansion Playbook: Define and execute the roadmap for launching a network of corporate hubs simultaneously across LATAM and the US (e.g., launching in Buenos Aires and São Paulo while scaling current hubs).
- Site Scouting & Real Estate Strategy: Lead site scouting, location criteria, and commercial space evaluations.
- Lease & Commercial Terms Ownership: Lead lease agreement reviews and negotiations (3-to-5+ year commercial terms, exit clauses, warranty deposits, tenant improvement allowances).
- Construction Project Management & Fit-Out Supervision: Lead and supervise the full architectural design, interior fit-outs, and renovation projects for new corporate hubs. Manage general civil contractors on-site, track construction timelines, enforce quality control and punch-lists, oversee MEP/electrical backups, IT/server infrastructure, furniture procurement, and access control systems for turnkey handoffs.
- Multi-Site Facilities & Vendor Management: Source, audit, and manage general contractors, janitorial services, HVAC technicians, security personnel, and workplace suppliers across all operating markets.
- Contract Administration & Audit Readiness: Maintain a bulletproof repository of all active leases, SLAs, and supplier contracts, ensuring instant compliance readiness for corporate due diligence, internal audits, or financial reviews.
- Regulatory & Security Governance: Ensure strict adherence to regional workplace regulations (Protección Civil, EHS standards, local municipal permits, emergency response brigades, and access control security protocols for financial technology operations).
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Design and implement robust Business Continuity Plans to guarantee uninterrupted power, internet, and physical operational uptime across every hub.
- Brand & Cultural Infiltration: Standardize the look, feel, and employee experience across all hubs so walking into a Félix office in Mexico City, Bogotá, or Miami feels distinctly and seamlessly "Félix," while remaining authentically rooted in local community context.
- OPEX/CAPEX Budget Ownership: Own the regional workplace budget, driving strict cost discipline, negotiating savings, and managing vendor payments independently without requiring day-to-day executive handholding.
What Success Looks Like (The First 6 to 12 Months)
- 0 to 3 Months (Stabilization, Project Management & Expansion):
- Take immediate operational ownership of existing hubs (New York and current Miami site), establishing standardized SOPs and resolving facility/vendor bottlenecks.
- Lead and execute the physical expansion project for the Miami hub.
- Drive end-to-end project management (site fit-outs, contractor supervision, timelines, and punch-lists) for the construction of new hubs in Mexico City and Bogotá.
- Define the multi-site operational framework and initial site selection criteria for Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
- 3 to 6 Months (Multi-Site Execution & Launch):
- Successfully manage construction completion, fit-out inspections, and full operational launches for the Buenos Aires and Brazil hubs, as well as delivering the new CDMX and Bogotá offices, while maintaining smooth daily operations across existing spaces.
- Author and deploy a standardized Félix Network Launch Playbook covering multi-country site selection, construction/fit-out project management sequencing, regulatory compliance, legal contract guidelines, and vendor sourcing.
- 6 to 12 Months (Network Scaling):
- Leverage the playbook to plan and execute the next expansion wave (including San Francisco and secondary LATAM hubs).
