The Job

The Senior Recruiter leads our talent acquisition efforts and processes.  They play a critical role in our ability to scale our business while maintaining the culture that defines how we work with each other and our clients.  The Senior Recruiter develops and executes on full cycle recruiting plans to hire cybersecurity talent into a variety of technical and professional roles.

Principal Responsibilities  

  • Lives by the NuHarbor corporate values: Protect the House, Help Clients Win, Always Improve 
  • Provide input to continuously improve the NuHarbor recruitment process.
  • Source and engage candidates through creative sourcing techniques.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure we are identifying diverse slates and candidates who align and add to our culture.
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Expand network and contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical community and talent marketplace.
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events.
  • Maintain meaningful relationships across management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally to proactively build a talent pipeline and identify the capabilities required by the organization.
  • Partner with our Early Talent Leader on recruitment strategies and execution for internships and entry-level opportunities.
  • Drive compliance in the talent acquisition process across all stakeholder groups
  • Provide and use labor market intelligence and recruitment trends to improve diversity sourcing

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • In lieu of a degree, two (2) years of experience in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years corporate recruiting experience with a track record of successfully filling positions ranging from technical to sales and/or corporate functions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting metrics, standard concepts, and practices
  • Demonstrated experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related sourcing tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust style and messaging for a variety of audiences
  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Suite
  • Detail-oriented, strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Proven collaboration skills working cross-functionally to achieve outcomes that impact candidate experience and business objectives
  • Must be a citizen of the United States

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Hands on experience with college recruiting
  • Proven experience training and providing coaching to hiring managers regarding interview and selection processes including a diversity and inclusion focus throughout
  • Experience in a cyber security, software, or IT industry
  • SHRM or HRCI certification

 Work Location 

  • NuHarbor Security Headquarters in Colchester, Vermont.  Hybrid options available.

 Travel 

  • Occasional travel is required for recruiting, industry engagements and meetings.
