We are the foundation that aims to set up our people for success to do the best work of their life at Calendly. 

Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for two Senior Recruiters to own full lifecycle hiring for our core Engineering organization and the other who will own Product and Research hiring. These roles are supporting our two biggest investment areas of Calendly, that are also the highest volume and complexity of hiring needs.  You will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition  and will be responsible for being a true utility player within the Talent Acquisition Team.  You will be supporting the hiring initiatives for our Engineering and Product teams.  

A day in the life of a Senior Recruiter, R&D at Calendly

You will work in a fast-paced recruiting environment while ensuring that candidate experience remains a top priority. This role will work collaboratively with our hiring managers across the Engineering and Product departments to find and attract the best talent to join Calendly. You will have outstanding time management and communication skills and be eager to own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening to the final offer.

On a typical day, you will be working on: 

  • Identifying, sourcing and engaging candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches
  • Leveraging existing network and build pipelines of candidates for specific skill sets/job categories
  • Partnering with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to develop a recruitment strategy and talent pipeline for each position
  • Managing the full-cycle recruiting process in applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Utilizing recruiting metrics to measure how effective and efficient the process is and identify areas for improvement

What do we need from you?

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience for Engineering, Product and Customer facing roles as well as the below:
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Greenhouse
  • Demonstrated ability to build a talent pipeline, meet deadlines and exceed hiring goals 
  • Expert in technical role fill strategies, LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Demonstrated clarity in both written and verbal communication 
  • Demonstrated ability in owning end to end Recruiting and business partnerships across R&D functions 
  • Experienced at project management and building core interview process and loop structures in partnership with senior tech leaders
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing funnel and core Recruiting metrics (passthrough rates, accept rates, hires over time, talent market insights) to influence outcomes

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.

Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.

Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.

Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:

  • Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
  • Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
  • Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2

Tier 2 Salary

$130,900$177,100 USD

Tier 3 Salary

$119,000$161,000 USD
