JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for working hand in hand with department leadership to ensure that operational hiring needs are being met in a timely and efficient fashion. The ideal candidate is experienced in recruiting across a wide variety of positions in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Ultimately, the Senior Recruiter will source and interview candidates to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our company’s current and future needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with Recruiting Department leadership to understand the hiring needs of the business
- Interview top candidates sourced by the sourcing team before deciding if they will move forward to the hiring manager
- On occasion, be prepared to run your own custom candidate searches for highly urgent or complex roles
- Brainstorm and implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
- Be aware of recruitment software and proactive about suggestion potential options that suit company needs
- Participate in job fairs and career events on occasion
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
REQUIRED SKILLS:

- High level of proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Hands-on experience with candidate databases and resume aggregators
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub, LinkedIn, etc)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Recruiting Agency experience preferred.
- Understanding of Boolean search strings preferred.
