Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and own the real estate pipeline for assigned territories
- Perform site research and analysis for all real estate sourced and/or accepted into pipeline
- Manage and own the pipeline resource with critical information, dates and documentation; move sites through real estate diligence
- Coordinate Real Estate Committee deliverables for executive team and cross functional partners
- Ownership of LOI negotiations
- Collaboration with legal team on lease negotiations
- Manage all broker relationships for assigned territories
- Manage landlord relationships through due diligence and permitting alongside the development team
- Manage national institutional relationships; ensure solidcore is always the first call
- Develop partnerships with other HQ functions including Legal, Operations, FP&A, and Marketing teams
- Perform special projects in support of cross functional business functions as requested
- Act as evangelist and steward of the [solidcore] brand in all professional settings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Law, GIS, or related field of study applicable to role required
- People management and team lead experience required
- Minimum 3-5 years of multi-market deal making/leasing experience, directly or indirectly with retailers, required; class A/urban street retail asset experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and interpret legal documents
- Self-starter with high accountability and eagerness to learn quickly
- Strong capability in balancing priorities against multiple deadlines
- Interest in continuously honing negotiation skills
- Strength in analyzing large amounts of data and distilling into digestible and actionable recommendations for various stakeholders
- Understand business performance and can action upon working with resources to create new insights for real estate and company strategies
- Passionate about [solidcore], retail brands and/or retail real estate
