We are seeking an innovative Senior React Developer to join our team working on financial software for investment management firms.
The platform delivers a unified solution across portfolio management, order management, electronic trading, compliance, and risk.
This role combines hands-on frontend development, technical ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and support for ongoing platform reliability.
Responsibilities
Contribute as a hands-on developer using React, MobX, and RxJS, with the ability to take ownership of technical processes.
Develop, build, enhance, and maintain systems and software components across the platform.
Design, code, and unit test complex software components for new or enhanced IT systems to a high standard of quality, while producing appropriate documentation.
Apply standard development methodologies throughout the full project lifecycle.
Participate in team-wide design discussions, code reviews.
Troubleshoot issues and perform periodic tasks required to support the ongoing functionality of software applications.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle and actively contribute across all phases.
Work directly with the Product team to clarify business requirements and with other development teams to align on technical integration details.
Support scheduled weekend upgrades.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Extensive experience with React, MobX, RxJS, and MUI.
Over 6 years of strong experience in React and TypeScript, as the core technologies used in the application.
Extensive hands-on experience developing end-to-end solutions with a strong focus on JavaScript.
Solid programming experience with CSS, SASS, and HTML.
Experience designing and implementing end-to-end solution architectures for large, complex systems, including Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), systems design, development, integration, and n-tier applications.
Software development experience with microservices-based applications.
Working knowledge of TeamCity, Git, GitLab, TFS, and Confluence.
Functional exposure to Agile, wealth/financial services, component-based development, and test-driven development.
Functional understanding of backend development primarily in .NET/ C#.
Occasional availability outside regular working hours for urgent escalations.
