About the Role:
As a Senior RAN Engineer supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to conduct advanced radio access network analysis that identifies coverage gaps and quantifies their impact on first responder communications. You will translate technical findings into engineering-based justifications and investment recommendations, reviewing vendor designs and proposals to support coverage-enhancement decisions across a national network.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Conduct detailed engineering analysis of AOIs to identify coverage gaps, validate need, assess performance conditions, and quantify potential impacts on Federal client’s network operational performance
Produce engineering‑based justifications and prioritization recommendations for AOIs, including technical evidence, public safety relevance, feasibility considerations, and investment dependencies
Review vendor-provided RAN designs, coverage predictions, and technical proposals and provide expert feedback and recommendations for improvement
Develop and maintain documentation packages, including engineering summaries, AOI analysis reports, technical briefing materials, RF analysis outputs, and traceable decision support artifacts
Support technical validation of reinvestment program artifacts by performing data quality checks, cross‑dataset comparisons, and verification of vendor‑submitted deliverables
Participate in technical discussions with internal SMEs, vendor engineering teams, and program leadership to support ongoing AOI refinement, coverage‑enhancement planning, and investment strategy alignment
Maintain audit‑ready engineering records documenting inputs, assumptions, analytical steps, rationale, recommendations, and technical outcomes
Provide subject matter expertise to inform future network enhancements, long‑term RAN planning, and public‑safety‑driven coverage improvements
Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive
