The Opportunity
You will work as an R&D Electrical Engineer, contributing to the development of technologies and tools for transformers, as part of a global innovation team.
How You Will Make an Impact
Propose and develop new technologies, products, and processes for both core and shell-type transformers.
Lead and manage R&D projects independently, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with the required quality.
Maintain and develop technical standards and design tools for transformers.
Perform electrical design and supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes.
Share knowledge and findings through reports, specifications, and participation in educational programs.
Evaluate production processes and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
Support factories in troubleshooting within your area of expertise.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, proposing partnerships and innovative solutions.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s or PhD is a plus.
Previous experience in electrical engineering, either in the transformer industry or academia.
Knowledge of advanced numerical simulations (e.g., magnetic or dielectric).
Proficiency in commercial simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, Simcenter).
Ability to develop custom technical solutions.
Strong teamwork skills in international environments and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Innovative mindset, proactive attitude, and problem-solving orientation.
Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
