Job Title : Senior Quality Program Manager
Job Description
Directs and guides the activities of programs consisting of multiple and interdependent projects executed by performing organizations and/or staff, to contribute to the program’s delivery of its intended benefits and the Quality Operation’s Strategy.
Develops and executes program plans, schedules and deliverables. Is responsible for ensuring compliance with the relevant PSQ policies, procedures and standards.
Leads multiple project teams, with people from different parts of the organization to deliver cross-functional and/or cross-business goals and objectives. Depending on the program’s goal and objectives, the program manager works for and collaborates with many stakeholders, cross-functional and cross-business, with a variety of expertise and responsibilities.
Education and Background
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, business administration, or engineering.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project/program management.
Certifications: Philips Project Management Practitioner/Expert/Master or equivalent (PMI, PMBoK, SAFe).
Knowledge of and exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 for medical devices.
Experience with QMS (Quality Management Systems), CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes Nonconformance, Calibration, PM, Process and Production Controls, Warehousing etc.
Familiarity with risk management standards such as ISO 14971 and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
Comprehensive training in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Experience & Background
15-17 years of relevant working experience, including all aspects of project development and execution.
Demonstrating record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology, and experience working in programs, preferably supporting the program manager in program management activities
Demonstrating record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology and 5+ years of program management experience.
Expertise in applying Philips PM standards (PMI, PMBoK, SAFe) and coaching others in project/program management processes
Known authority on process-oriented skills with consistent application.
Manages multi-site or medium/high complex programs over 2–3 years or financial impact of > €10M.
Encourages balanced risk-taking and mitigates risks to maintain program health
Innovates and elevates program and portfolio capabilities.
Dimensions related to Know-How, Complexity, and Accountability
Detailed knowledge of company/operations allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas.
As an expert in the field of utilizing quality principles with project management, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
Interacts internally and externally with senior level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters including influencing policymaking.
Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company’s goals.
On-site presence required as a priority to ensure effective support and execution.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
