We are seeking a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer - Test Automation Lead to drive quality engineering across iOS, Android, APIs, and backend services. This role is responsible for automation strategy, test framework development, CI/CD quality integration, and technical leadership while partnering with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute mobile and backend test automation strategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS, Android, and APIs.
- Build and manage CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines and quality gates.
- Lead performance, reliability, and release-readiness testing initiatives.
- Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs through technical guidance and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve product quality and delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development and/or test automation.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior or technical leadership role.
- Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest, and Xcode.
- Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI Testing, and Android Studio.
- JUnit 4 and JUnit 5.
- Understanding of mobile application signing, packaging, and command-line deployment.
- Experience testing APIs and backend services.
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- GitLab CI and YAML pipeline configuration.
- Bash/shell scripting.
- Linux, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
- AWS experience preferred.
- BrowserStack experience is a plus.
- Strong programming and automation framework design skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Skills Required
- 7-9 years QA/SDET experience; 3+ years in a technical lead role
- Strong programming in Python and/or Java
- Hands-on expertise in Linux, shell scripting, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS
- UI automation (Playwright preferred) and API automation experience
- Performance testing experience (k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
