The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, under the direct supervision of the Onshore ServiceNow QA expert, is responsible for ensuring the quality of ServiceNow implementations and enhancements within the organization. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of QA testing methodologies, ServiceNow platform, and automated testing tools. The Senior QA Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough validation of ServiceNow applications. Track defects, coordinate with development teams for timely resolution, and conduct retesting
- Leverage ServiceNow's ATF platform to create and maintain automated regression test scripts, enhancing efficiency and coverage
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
- Provide regular QA status updates to project teams and leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and recommendations
- Foster strong relationships with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, align expectations, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously assess and refine QA processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in developing comprehensive test plans, test suites, and executing test cases, with a strong emphasis on database validation
- 7+ years of experience in QA testing, with at least 5 years specifically focused on ServiceNow
- 7+ years of experience in ensuring test traceability, linking requirements to functional deliveries
- 4+ years of experience working in the HR, healthcare, finance, or banking domains, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with multivendor teams
- 3+ years of experience in automating test processes using Selenium or other open-source automation tools
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing, updating, and executing SQL queries for testing purposes
- 2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Azure Test Plan and test management tools
- 2+ years of experience in managing defects, including triaging, brainstorming, retesting, and reporting
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile, hybrid-agile, and waterfall methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Testing Specialist (CTS)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Experience with CSM, HRSD, or other relevant ServiceNow modules
- Proven solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proven to be proactive, decisive, and action-oriented approach to work
- Proven excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to clearly articulate requirements into comprehensive test cases and ensure thorough test coverage across different teams
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
