Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform overall QA testing activities and perform QA test execution activities for multiple SCA projects
- Provide test execution support in test and stage environments for concurrent SCAH projects
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough validation of software applications. Track defects, coordinate with development teams for timely resolution, and conduct retesting
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
- Provide regular QA status updates to project teams and leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and recommendations
- Foster solid relationships with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, align expectations, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously assess and refine QA processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Actively participates in scums meetings and provides QA estimations
- Primary POC to perform sanity testing and provide production check-out support, once in two weeks
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technology related fields
- 7+ years of expertise in QA testing and experienced in test planning, leading and implementing QA processes
- 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis/ user stories, writing, executing test cases within Azure Dev Ops
- 5+ years of defect management, defect triaging, defect remediation, and root cause reporting
- 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience in Selenium or Playwright or open-source automation tools using Java / JavaScript / Typescript or C#.Net languages
- 4+ years of experience in test traceability, ensuring requirements for functional deliveries
- 2 + years of experience in Microsoft Azure Test plan and test management, with ability to deploy code via pipelines
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing using Jmeter or any open source software
- 1+ years of experience in API Testing using Rest Assured or similar tools
- Hands-on test automation experience and exposure to selenium
- Demonstrate experience with Agile, hybrid-agile and waterfall methodologies
- Seasoned QA engineer with ability to design, build, execute and report QA effort in both manual and automation plans
- Technical knowledge and background to perform testing using various testing methods, viz., functional, GUI, DB, API, Integrated and E2E testing
- Good understanding of backend DB systems and general database querying knowledge
- Exposure to white box testing and performance testing tools like J meter

- Proven proactive, decisive, action-oriented individual
- Proven solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proven excellent interpersonal with test to break attitude, collaborative, and a team player
- Proven ability to clearly articulate requirements into test cases and ensure test coverage with other teams
- Proven ability to be broadly focused and deliver multiple efforts concurrently
