😎 What you’ll do
- Lead and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans and cases for software projects.
- Create and maintain testing documentation and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
- Conduct thorough manual testing across both frontend (UI/UX) and backend (API, data) systems to ensure software reliability and functionality.
- Perform system regressions to ensure the quality of our releases.
- Report clear and concise bugs found in the system and do exploratory testing sessions to check for more areas of improvement.
- Communicate testing status, quality risks, and release readiness reports directly to project managers and clients.
- Participate in stand-ups, sprint plannings, retrospectives, and demos with coworkers and clients.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in quality assurance.
✅ What you’ll need
- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Proficiency in manual testing and experience working as the sole QA in a team.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and manual testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking (Jira), test case management (Qase), API testing (Apollo/Postman), and cloud environments (AWS).Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for visual detail, and the ability to navigate and test complex systems and data flows.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work remotely full time from Uruguay/Argentina.
