About the Role
As a Semi senior QA Engineer, you will help the team meet our standards for quality, This involves creating and executing test plans and automated tests, by yourself, and in collaboration with your team. You will also assist in reproducing bugs that are reported, to help with their resolution.
You will participate in team planning and design stages, to help the team build the best solutions that are also testable. This includes leveraging development environments and building automated tests, fixtures, and test data, in collaboration with their team and others.
The Tech Stack
Our applications use React, Apollo Client on the front end and Nodejs, graphql, Mysql, redis and elastic search which are split across multiple services. All of this lives in mono repo with "turn key" docker powered development environment allowing you as a developer to focus on what matters. Everything packed in a next generation PWA (Progressive Web Application) running in kiosk mode on Google Chrome OS devices, making us one of the first Google partners to build PWA's for the new ChromeOS web API's.
Responsibilities:
- Have a good understanding of our QA standards
- Ensure and maintain the quality of their teams new features and releases
- Know our technology stack, dev environment and testing tools, and stay involved in technical learning
- Be familiar with our Continuous Integration tools and practices
- Be involved with and collaborate in improving our QA process and strategy
- Test and triage level 2 support issues and bugs in production, reproduce reported issues, and collaborate in their resolution
Qualifications:
- You have been QA Engineer for at least 2 years
- You always have the user in mind
- You see challenges as opportunities
- You can fluently communicate in English both spoken and written
