Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Translator / Proofreader to lead and elevate the quality of English and Arabic content across our learning ecosystem. This is a project-based role for 6 months, with strong cross-functional involvement and high impact on content quality.As the Senior Translator / Proofreader, you will:Lead proofreading and copyediting of English and Arabic content with advanced linguistic accuracy and quality refinement.
Ensure precise, culturally relevant translations while preserving tone, intent, and message integrity.
Perform advanced quality checks on visual content (video lectures, slides, promos, etc.) from a linguistic and production perspective.
Mentor and guide junior team members and freelancers to maintain consistent quality standards.
Improve their skills through training, holding regular sessions, reporting to management, resolving issues, attending client meetings when needed, and building clear guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the content production workflow and ensure alignment with almentor quality benchmarks.
Proactively enhance and evolve quality assurance processes for continuous improvement across all projects.
Take ownership of content quality KPIs and resolve complex language or content-related challenges.
4+ years of experience in a similar role (translation, proofreading, language QA).
Strong background in Instructional Design, educational content creation, or teaching.
Exceptional written English skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation, language refinement).
Exceptional written Arabic skills with deep linguistic and cultural awareness.
Demonstrated ability to lead, review, and quality-check high-volume, high-impact content.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong ownership over content quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
