We are looking for an Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join Clarivate in Barcelona.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 2 years of experience in test automation, including Python-based automation (Robot Framework, PyTest, or similar) and at least one UI automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
At least 2 years of experience in API testing using Postman or an equivalent tool.
Hands-on experience with Java for automation support (minimum 6 months).
At least 1 year of experience working in Agile environments.
Demonstrated experience designing and executing test scenarios, including identifying edge cases in both manual and automated testing.
It would be great if you also had . . .
Experience using JMeter for performance and load testing.
Experience with JIRA or similar tools for defect and test management.
Experience with the Karate Framework for API automation.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of test design techniques and regression strategy development.
Knowledge or practical exposure to AI testing tools or methodologies.
What will you be doing in this role?
Automating and validating product features using the existing Robot Framework supported by Python.
Executing manual tests when needed to ensure full coverage and product quality.
Collaborating with developers to identify defects, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
Supporting team members with debugging, test analysis, and troubleshooting activities as required.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Barcelona office.
This is a hybrid position, working form the office 2-3 days per week.
