QIMA Food is dedicated to helping every member of the global food supply chain ensure the safety and quality of food products, as well as safe working conditions and sustainable practices. With inspections, audits, and certifications, we support food growers, producers, and retailers, as well as businesses in food service and hospitality, securing their food products' journey from farm to shelf and fork. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled QA professional to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the product manager, technical lead, and fellow developers in ensuring top-tier quality of enterprise services. 

• Create and Implement the Test Strategy:  

• Develop effective, reusable, and maintainable automated functional test frameworks. 

• Ensure proper functioning of automation scripts across all browsers and platforms. 

• Create test plans and enforce test planning by gathering functional and non-functional requirements (system capacity projections, API traffic volumes, servers, network, storage capacities, page response times, etc.) 

• Execute testing activities, including manual and automated testing. 

• Collaborative Development:  

• Partner with the product manager, technical lead, and fellow developers to understand requirements and design test plans. 

• Quality Assurance:  

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with requirements and ensure consistent and thorough testing of new and existing features. 

• Automation:  

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure comprehensive coverage of use cases and scenarios. 

• Bug Tracking:  

• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, collaborating effectively with developers to diagnose issues and verify fixes. 

• Continuous Improvement:  

• Promote best practices in QA, contribute to the improvement of code quality and test coverage, and advocate for a culture of excellence and continuous development. 

• Deployment Support:  

• Validate software readiness before production release, ensuring seamless integration, minimal downtime, and optimal functionality during release cycles. 

• Release Readiness Reporting:  

• Work within Agile processes and contribute to release readiness reporting based on the outcome of performance testing activities. 

• Complex System Investigations:  

• Contribute to root cause analysis and complex system investigations. 

• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices; 

• Hands-on experience with: 

• Test management tools (Test Rail, TestLink) 

• Defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) 

• Open-source test automation tools (Selenium, Protractor, Appium, PhantomJS) Java/JavaScript - Cypress is a plus 

• Performance/load testing tools (Gatling, JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner) 

• Functional testing of RESTful API 

• Strong knowledge and understanding of: 

• Development languages (Java, Python or JavaScript) 

• Software development tools (Git, SQL, etc.) 

• Good English and Portuguese skills. 

• Working knowledge of automated testing for mobile devices; 

• The ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects; 

• ISTQB Certifications; 

• A proactive, flexible and self-motivated attitude.
