About the Team

The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge platforms like SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus CPQ or equivalent, CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others.

About the Role

As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (With TOSCA expertise), you will be responsible for driving excellence across both Automation and manual testing for critical enterprise applications like Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager. You’ll lead the QA strategy from end to end, ensuring automation frameworks are robust, scalable, and integrated seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will be a key driver of quality, leading testing efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align quality goals with business objectives. You will also coach and mentor QA engineers, fostering a high-performance culture that is rooted in best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on technical leader who thrives in challenging environments, excels in both strategic oversight and detailed execution, and has a proven ability to drive change and improvements within large-scale testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the QA automation strategy, balancing both manual and automation testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage and fast delivery cycles.

  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to align testing initiatives with business needs and deliverables.

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of automated test frameworks that integrate with DevSecOps pipelines for efficient and scalable test execution.

  • Act as a champion for quality within the organization, influencing and advocating for QA best practices across teams.

  • Mentor and develop the QA team, ensuring that both manual and automation testing efforts are executed at the highest level.

  • Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on automation strategy, architecture, and technical challenges.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, leading both automation and manual efforts, with a focus on delivering quality at scale.

  • Minimum 5+ years of expertise with TOSCA automation and TA1 certification is a must and qTest automation tools, specifically for Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Must have worked in in-sprint automation and delivered test scripts within the same sprint. 

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using TOSCA, ensuring full coverage of critical workflows.

  • A proven track record of building resilient test automation architectures, including reusable components (RTBs), custom objects, and automation utilities that minimize maintenance and maximize coverage.

  • Expertise in end-to-end test automation and creating test automation suites at scale.

  • Deep experience in leading end-to-end testing efforts, including test planning, execution, UAT, regression, and functional testing.

  • Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and act as the technical point of contact for all automation-related matters.

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium using C# or JavaScript for creating scalable automation scripts. Hands on experience in programming languages such as C#, Java or Javascript. 

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration with automated testing pipelines, in collaboration with DevSecOps teams.

  • 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS) and familiarity with integrating cloud-based testing solutions.

  • Proven leadership in coaching and mentoring teams, guiding technical reviews, and being a go-to person for troubleshooting complex automation issues.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Tricentis Tosca TA1 certification is a must.

  • ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or higher certification is a plus.

  • Experience with OAuth, Single-Sign-On, REST Web Services, Postman, JSON, XML.

  • Proficient with Git for version control and working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with other automation tools such as Cucumber and testing frameworks such as JUnit or Cypress.
