We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst who is enthusiastic about manual testing to join our team! If you have experience in quality roles, enjoy performing an integral role in large-scale transformative projects, and you are a collaborative and assistive team member who champions all things quality, this may be for you. You will work within an Agile team to assist your team with design, creation, and executing manual testing scripts. You will assist the Agile team with writing Acceptance Criteria, designing test scripts and will be responsible for executing manual tests, reporting issues, and sharing results.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will: 

  • Develop and execute detailed manual test cases based on product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage in Agile projects.
  • Troubleshoot and validate fixes in existing applications, performing root cause analysis where needed.
  • Participate actively in design and architectural discussions, reviewing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and identifying dependencies.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure product consistency, robustness, and scalability.
  • Support end users during UAT by clarifying issues and validating fixes.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and daily stand-ups to support quality delivery.
  • Report test results clearly and provide actionable feedback to development teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help define and maintain QA standards, frameworks, testing strategies for complex projects, and continuous improvements to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead test planning for large-scale releases and coordinate efforts across multiple teams.
  • Support automation adoption and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor junior QA analysts and provide guidance on advanced testing techniques.
  • Collaborate with architecture and product leadership to influence design decisions for quality and scalability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for critical releases.

To be successful in this role you will need: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience: 

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in software quality assurance, including designing and authoring test cases.
  • 5+ years of experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • 5+ relevant financial services industry experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Postman, Tricentis TTA and Jira.
  • 3+ years of working in and with Salesforce, FiServ, Open Financial Platforms, web applications, microservices and APIs
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed orientation
  • High level understanding of system architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies and QA lifecycle.
  • Ability to read and use system design artifacts such as flowcharts and wireframes.
  • Computer Skills: 
  • Experience with core software applications (Salesforce, Open Finance Platform, FiServ) is desirable.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office products and Design & Development best practices preferred.
