Senior Software Quality Analyst (100% remote)

At Zego, a Global Payments company, we’re seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst to champion quality across our flagship Resident Experience platform—an application used by thousands daily. ⸻What You’ll Do

Quality at Zego isn’t a checkbox—it’s part of our product DNA. In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead end-to-end testing across mobile and web platforms, ensuring every release is stable, performant, and user-ready.

  • Author, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test documentation that capture real user scenarios.

  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing using both manual and automated strategies.

  • Execute automated test suites (created by SDETs) through Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD pipelines.

  • Investigate and debug issues to identify root causes and collaborate with developers to drive timely resolutions.

  • Validate across platforms using BrowserStack or equivalent cross-browser/device testing tools.

  • Use SQL queries to validate data integrity, verify back-end processes, and support defect investigations.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is built in from the start.

  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing process enhancements, improving test coverage, and advocating for smarter testing strategies.

  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to our internal quality community of practice


⸻Required Skills & Experience

We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented quality professional who brings both technical strength and analytical curiosity. You should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, ideally in agile development environments.

  • Strong experience testing both mobile and web applications, including responsive design validation.

  • Proficiency in test case creation, documentation, and execution using tools like BrowserStack, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent.

  • Working knowledge of BrowserStack or similar cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).

  • Experience executing automated test suites from Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.

  • Hands-on SQL skills for validating data and performing back-end checks.

  • Solid debugging and troubleshooting ability, with a passion for discovering the root cause of failures.

  • Familiarity with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman) and understanding of front-end and back-end interactions.

  • Version control experience (Git, GitHub, or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in agile and CI/CD environments

  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cypress, or Appium)

  • Exposure to cloud-based microservices and distributed systems
