Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Qlik Developer to design, develop, and implement advanced data visualization and analytics solutions using the Qlik platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data modeling, and reporting, with a proven ability to deliver scalable and intuitive dashboards. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense and QlikView. 
  • Strong expertise in data modeling techniques, including creating star and snowflake schemas. 
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, scripting, and working with complex data sets. 
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). 
  • Strong knowledge of Qlik scripting, expressions, and set analysis for building complex analytics. 
  • Familiarity with integrating Qlik solutions with other platforms and tools (e.g., APIs, extensions). 
  • Experience in data visualization best practices and designing intuitive user interfaces. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Qlik NPrinting for automated report generation and distribution. 
  • Knowledge of big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
  • Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices. 
  • Qlik certifications, such as Qlik Sense Data Architect or QlikView Developer. 

Technical Skills:

  • Qlik Tools: Qlik Sense, QlikView, Qlik NPrinting 
  • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL 
  • Programming Languages: SQL, Python (preferred for advanced analytics) 
  • Data Modeling: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema 
  • Other Tools: APIs, third-party Qlik extensions, ETL tools 

Duties:

  • Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense and QlikView. 
  • Build and maintain data models to support scalable and efficient analytics solutions. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Develop and optimize complex ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Qlik applications. 
  • Write and optimize Qlik scripts for data integration and transformation. 
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all dashboards and reports. 
  • Implement advanced data visualizations and techniques to provide actionable insights. 
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Qlik applications and dashboards. 
  • Optimize application performance, including query optimization and efficient data model design. 
  • Train and mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Qlik development best practices. 
  • Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of the Qlik platform and incorporate them into development strategies. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flows, models, and user guides.
