Client Facing Channels
You will be part of the Channel and Market Integration (CMI) Squad, which develops platforms that unifies interfaces of the Bank with external systems, such as Central Banks, Clearing Houses, government Agencies, Regulators. The platform allows payment processes to leave and enter the bank, provides payment orchestrating services on cloud-based microservice architecture.

Ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the continuous delivery roadmap for one of the leading programs in corporate bank, leading from the front on all aspect of Software Development Lifecycle, following and applying the agile principles. You should have many years of experience and preferably would have worked in large digital transformation programs as a senior engineer (f/m/x) consisting of cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, containers and would understand managed application/container security across the layers etc.
As a Senior QA & Testing Engineer (f/m/x) you will analyze and write test standards, procedures and maintain Test Results documentation. You will collaborate with software developers and support them to determine the corrective actions. You will be responsible for full lifecycle of testing activities, starting from specification and design to successful production rollout and level 3 production support.

Your key responsibilities
Understanding the business requirements and translating them into functional specifications. Working with the development team to implement the functional specifications.
Work closely with developers, functional/business analysts, and other QA team members to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
Design and develop automation scripts to test backend applications using multiple interfaces like Kafka, IBM MQ, API endpoints using test automation frameworks.
Execute automated tests, analyze, and report results, and work with the team to resolve defects.
Support all testing activities including requirement analysis & understanding, test plan creation, writing Test Scenarios, creating & executing Regression test suite, logging Defects and tracking them to closure.
Support Application management area (Application Owner and L3 team) for functional area trouble shooting and resolution to reported bugs on the application.
Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve overall testing quality.
Your skills and experiences
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester with hands-on experience with system, system integration ,E2E testing, API testing and Regression testing.
Experience with test strategy, planning and approach mechanism.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience to perform high quality testing according to Bank standards.
xperience with automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Postman, or equivalent.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Groovy.
Experience with log reading and analysis of logs with tools like Splunk, Fabric.
Experience with CICD tools like TeamCity,Jenkins.
Experience of working with Kafka/MQ and understanding microservice architecture would be a plus.
