We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Tester to join our team of IT professionals on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT sector, based in Nicosia, Cyprus. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled QA professional with a passion for software quality and a proven track record in leading and executing testing processes within dynamic development environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Lead functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with precision, collaborating closely with development teams to drive resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevOps) to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations to enhance system performance and usability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) will be considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
