About the Role:
We are looking for a detail oriented Robot QA Test Engineer to join our team. In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Digit robot through daily testing and analysis.
About The Work:
- Coordinate and execute daily testing on our internal fleet of robots against new software changes to ensure previously identified bugs have been resolved, and new regressions have not been introduced.
- Create processes and systems to help identify, track, and prioritize issues that have been found and foster efficient communication of the issues to the development teams.
- Develop expertise in the hardware and software, and provide guidance to the QA test team to help narrow down to the source of issues being observed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to get testing inputs and generate actionable results.
- Generate clear documentation on test results, including logs and screenshots and video recordings.
About You:
- MS in robotics, computer science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience (or BS with 5+ years industry experience)
- Experience troubleshooting complex hardware and/or software systems
- Breadth of understanding across controls, state estimation, sensing, and locomotion
- Detail oriented problem solver.
