In the role of Senior QA Engineer in GN’s Platform Development team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will be part of our efforts to ensure high-quality solutions by testing, validating, and safeguarding digital products that support innovation across GN.

You will become a member of GN’s Platform Development team, concentrating on enhancing digital exploration, development, and innovation. The team follows a project-oriented approach, prioritizing curiosity, quick execution, and responsiveness in its efforts to investigate, prototype, and assess new digital innovations and technologies. With experimentation at the core, your tasks will be versatile, and you will work in a challenging and exciting learning environment that brings new opportunities from concept into workable solutions.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Test APIs, websites, infrastructure, and related services
Create detailed and well-structured test plans and cases, including preconditions and test data
Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and performance testing activities
Initiate automated tests to confirm APIs meet acceptance criteria
Report errors, document results, and track defects clearly and consistently
Assist the development team with testing throughout the development lifecycle
Communicate QA-related risks that may impact releases
Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, colleagues, and stakeholders in Denmark and Ukraine
Contribute to automation testing best practices and continuous improvement of QA processes
Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

What is required:
Professional experience in QA, working with enterprise solutions
Experience testing REST APIs, web applications, and services
Ability to create, execute, and maintain automated test suites (JavaScript, TypeScript, Postman, or similar)
Familiarity with QA processes, CI/CD tools, and continuous testing practices
Programming knowledge in JavaScript or C#
Experience using Postman, Azure Test Plans, and Azure DevOps
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
It is beneficial to have:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
ISTQB certification
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, XML, and JSON
Experience with performance or security testing
Knowledge of SQL and Azure Cosmos DB
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
