Senior QA Engineer

You'll be joining our FX Trade Advanced Analytics team as a senior QA Analyst. We're responsible for building and delivering complex analytic applications across our regulated FX trading venues.

We are seeking a highly motivated QA tester with strong manual testing experience to join our team and work on our FX Analytics team. Must be strong Individual contributor and be able to work as a part of the Team, deliver expertise in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the testing of new analytic application capabilities inside our overall analytics ecosystem. As such, you will need strong technical abilities, be able to quickly grasp and contribute to existing QA practices with a good understanding of functional knowledge.

• Engages with stakeholders across the FX business to fully understand business requirements that are creating Technology change
• Responsible for all aspects of the QA cycle for assigned projects and liaises with product management and development teams to communicate defects
• Analyze business requirement documents and work closely with development, product, and test teams in reviewing and clarifying functional and nonfunctional aspects of the application.
• Work closely with technical and non-technical peers and senior management to promote successful delivery of products and services
• Flexible in managing changing priorities. Must be able to adhere to set deadlines working in high pressured environments and production support.

Job Description

Under general direction the selected candidate will serve as the Senior QA analyst responsible for testing Data and Analytic financial applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Both Manual and Automation testing (C#/Java)
• Experience in verifying the correctness of data against the source and target after implementing the ETL code against the corresponding mapping document.
• Strong experience in writing SQL queries to validate the data using Oracle SQL Developer
• Undertakes evaluation and quality reviews of the testing deliverables and procedures, and makes suggestions for improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually with a self-starter ("can do") attitude

Additional Skills and Experience

• Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies 
• Experience working in version-control solutions such as Git or SVN
• Some knowledge of API testing and AWS exposure
• Experience in the finance industry or knowledge of financial products is a plus.
