Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team at the Censis India Development Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, API testing, integration testing, and quality engineering practices. This role involves designing robust test strategies, implementing automation frameworks, and contributing to the overall quality roadmap of our enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & UI Testing
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Selenium with C#.
  • Implement UI automation and TypeScript for front-end testing and user experience validation.
  • Ensure automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• API & Integration Testing
  • Design and execute automated and manual tests for RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Validate request/response payloads, authentication flows, and error handling.
  • Perform Boomi integration testing to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.
  • Conduct testing of various third-party API integrations to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with development and integration teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Quality Strategy & Planning
  • Define and implement test strategy, planning and execution approaches for multiple projects.
  • Identify acceptance criteria, create detailed test plans, and manage test data setup.
  • Contribute to defining the long-term testing roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Test Case Management
  • Write, review, and optimize detailed test cases and test scripts.
  • Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Process & Project Management
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align QA efforts with project timelines.
  • Use JIRA for defect tracking, test case management, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with UCR (User Change Requests) and software development life cycle processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–9 years of hands-on QA experience in automation and API testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium with C# for test automation.
• Experience in Boomi integration testing and validating enterprise workflows.
• Experience in testing third-party APIs and ensuring robust integration.
• Experience in test strategy, planning, acceptance criteria definition, and test data setup.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
• Proficient in JIRA and UCR management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and define scalable QA processes.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for Test Automation and executing testing.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q developer, Cursor AI or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams in different time zones.
• Mentor juniors to help them in their delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise-scale product testing.
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
