JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a QA engineer with experience in automation (Selenium) / API testing who would be validating the web based / Backend applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the requirement and Develop Test ware (Test Script - Manual, Test Data)
- Update Test Coverage Matrix
- Execute Test Cases and Update Status in Stand-ups/ JIRA/ Test Management Tool
- Follow the Testing Process and Procedures outlined .
- Log Test Defects in the Defect Management Tool along with required information
- Do necessary follow-ups with respective Stakeholders to Complete the Validation
- Participate in JAD sessions on need basis
COMPETENCIES
Must have skills:
- Working experience in Core Java/J2EE based applications
- Hands on experience in Selenium web driver
- Working experience in API testing
Good to have/Desired skills:
- Working experience in Linux/Unix OS
- Working experience in TestNG
- Experience with on-line advertising technologies or large-scale workflow systems would be a big plus
- Knowledge on version management tools like GitHub would be highly desirable
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in QA automation
