- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks at every layer of the application stack (API, contract, and end-to-end), ensuring tests are reliable, scalable, and maintainable
- Create automated functional tests using Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO + Appium for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and establish healthy automated test coverage across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools for test generation, log analysis, self-healing test scripts, and visual regression testing into QA workflows
- Set up and manage test environments, automation pipelines, and CI/CD job configurations to support continuous testing and delivery
- Develop and maintain test scripts and test data for automated tests, following proper design principles, documentation standards, and code quality practices
- Act as an automation advocate across sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles, ensuring quality is integrated from the start
- Monitor production systems and user behavior to identify testing gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers, raising the bar for coding, design principles, and best practices
- Integrate and optimise test suites in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast feedback cycles and smooth deployments
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Quality Engineer building automation frameworks at scale for large web applications
- Strong experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript, including end-to-end (E2E) testing for critical user journeys and regression testing
- Proven experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium
- Proven experience in automating tests for Web, Mobile, APIs, and contract testing
- Deep understanding of test automation best practices, including the Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and framework design patterns
- Experience working with DevOps and continuous deployment infrastructures, including CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or similar)
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Understanding of shift-left and shift-right testing methodologies
- Familiarity with synthetic monitoring and observability (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry or similar)
